These are the Books I Have Written So Far..
My style of writing poems is called "Modern Swahili Poetry," where I take the traditional style of Swahili poetry and modernize it to conform to today’s society.
The first book to introduce me to the world of poetry worldwide is "Nimepumzika 2009," meaning "I rest in 2009." That’s because in 2009 I took a break from all music activities and concentrated on writing books.

"Nimebadilika 2011" is the title of my second book, which means "I changed 2011." If you read the first poem in this book, you will understand why I gave this book its title.

The last book to publish so far is "Ninang'atuka 2014," which means "I quit 2014." I gave this book this title because that’s the year I made the decision to quit making Bongo Flava music. If you read the first poem in this book, you will understand why I made that decision.
